This has happened to me once or twice and I fixed it by turning user photos (avatars) OFF and then back ON.

What phone are you using? I’m using a Motorola V6 Maxx and I also get this generic avatar thing right after every update. So in order to display the real avatars, I trick TinyTwitter into redrawing/refreshing its UI by temporarily going to the ‘Send Tweet’ page, or to one of the Settings page and then pressing Cancel to go back to the timeline/list. The list should have been updated & will match tweets with the correct avatars. This delay in UI redrawing is just due to the way some phones handle Java apps.

The twitter avatars do not show up next to the persons tweet, just a generic image. Anyway to fix this? Really like this app. Found it via PocketPCThoughts.
